At LegenDerry’s Slow Food Festival, we champion all that is good, clean and fair in local food and drink.
Over five days in October, we celebrate the wonderful, community-minded artisans who cultivate their top-quality produce in the sea and soil around our wonderful city, the passionate, imaginative chefs committed to using the freshest, most sustainable homegrown ingredients, and the innovative craft brewers who take inspiration from Derry-Londonderry’s rich environment, history and heritage.
Alongside the star of the show – the Lough Foyle Irish Flat Oyster, delicious, right in season, and exclusive to our shores – the award-winning festival also sees Ireland’s top culinary stars share their secrets in our theatre kitchen, a harvest market featuring the North West’s finest producers, an exciting street food zone, beer tastings, a long table dining experience, wild cookery, food tours from Made in Derry, Dart Mountain Cheese and Northbound Brewery, family fun and much more.
