Nonnas Wood Fired Pizzas

For an authentic taste of Italy served with deliciously fresh Irish toppings and a laidback vibe, visit Nonnas Wood Fired Pizzas. In the space of a few years, this relative newcomer has become an award-winning gem on the LegenDerry restaurant scene; specialising in locally sourced ingredients and wood-fired pizzas made with passion.

Nonna’s story began when brothers Darren and Ryan Bradley, inspired by their travels in Italy and love of good pizza, decided to build a backyard pizza oven back home in Derry. After rave reviews from friends and family, they opened the first branch of Nonnas on Spencer Road in 2016, followed by their Shipquay Street restaurant. The menu is bursting with flavour and artisan ingredients, including antipasti with Corndale Farm salami and Carraig Bán goats cheese, and wood-fired pizzas featuring Nonna’s own hot honey, fresh seasonal vegetables and Broighter Gold oils (and vegan and gluten-free options), plus local Redgate Cider and Nonna’s Birra, a collaboration with Northbound Brewery. So come and grab a table, or keep an eye out for the Bella the Food Truck at local festivals and events.
