Moore on the Quay
Along Derry’s bustling quay, as the River Foyle winds its way through our city, you’ll find a slick black food truck selling some of the freshest fish from our shores.
Moore on the Quay’s location couldn’t be more fitting – suitably nautical overlooking the boats of Foyle Marina, and right next door to Pyke ‘N’ Pommes’ street food bus and shipping container.
Fishmonger Brendan Moore champions fish from local suppliers, including the Foyle Fisherman’s Co-op in nearby Greencastle. He proudly displays whatever gems the latest haul has produced, on ice, in the hatch of his converted truck. Depending on the time of year, and how lucky the fishermen have been, it could be langoustines, oysters, red mullet, monkfish, John Dory, octopus, or lemon sole.
So whether you’re planning a beautifully simple mid-week meal, or a spectacular seafood barbeque, you’ll find your perfect catch right here.
