Pyke N Pommes
‘Making our city taste better’ is the motto at this award-winning street food joint, and that’s exactly what Kevin Pyke’s been doing since he set up shop in a disused car park in 2013. Since then, he’s swapped his food truck for a converted shipping container and double-decker bus (‘Decky’) along the quay, and opened a bricks and mortar restaurant, @57 (complete with its own Rough Brothers’ Beer 57), last year. All produce is made from scratch – from locally sourced, LegenDerry grass-fed Wagyu beef burgers to tacos loaded with porter braised brisket, tequila battered haddock, or cauliflower, cabbage, lime mayo and radish. Pride and passion – for great ingredients, great flavours and our great city – in every bite.
